Apparently the american distributor for the film will be A24, partnering with amazon studios, which should grant the film a nice visibility and perhaps some oscar push : http://awardswatch.com/forums/showthread...read/page3

A24 have come out nowhere and become the new champions of independent film in America, having distributed the likes of Room, Moonlight and The Disaster Artist. So, that's good news.

Terry Gilliam is also reputed to have secured an out-of-competition slot for The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, two decades after he started trying to get the project off the ground.
