More than the beard, what i find strange is that 2 weeks before shooting he's still in London and not in Spain... But maybe it was a little pause before going back to it...

It's due to start of October 4th, but it could have been a little pause. As for lack of beard, maybe it'll be fake. But, even more worrying, producer Paolo Branco isn't listed on Imdb. Hopefully Phil can shed some light on the matter.

Some comforting news from belgium :

Actually the shooting seems now planned for a november start and belgian facilities will handle the post-production, and especially the visual effects. Many thanks Bruttenholm, I had not heard about this appearance on Radio 4 - seems to be to promote the paperback version of Gilliamesque. So Branco is now confirmed out of the picture, and it is not fully funded. How can they get lots of cash in just a few weeks? This seems an impossible task.

Unless Gilliam goes cap in hand to Amazon, aren't they supposed to have a hand in it of some sort?

Amazon Studios were involved with the version with John Hurt but I don't understand why they aren't here for this one either.

But, Gilliam still has a deal with them? Besides, it's official, it's delayed again. But, Gilliam is optimistic that its temporary.
