By the way, another word defending the production in the affair of the Tomar Convent, from a technician working on the site, saying that everything was controlled and that the stones deteriorate themselves regularly so the production isn't guilty of that : https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2...bnwhwC4YTA

There seems to be a high degree of natural crumbling.

I set up a video interview for a member of the cast in a quiet part of the convent. There was good natural lighting - a great location I thought. There was a camera on a tripod, with a chair for me and a chair for a member of the cast.

Then suddenly noticed loose bits of stone rubble on the floor that had probably accumulated over months. Then realised that there was a risk of falling masonry from directly above where we were due to sit!

We switched location.

Having a movie filming there can only boost the site's budget for maintenance and repair.

Yes, that's what the technician says : at the end of the shoot, the production insurance is accountable for all the damages on site, whether it has been caused by the actual production or is just due to natural deterioration, so it's a good bargain to have a production so it can pay for maintenance.
