Live stream Q&A at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation

(Go to the 3:30 mark in the video. I couldn't get the video to skip the first few minutes to the part where it starts.)

Richard Roeper gave Quixote a nice review.

‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’: To dream Terry Gilliam’s unstoppable dream:

I can almost forgive him now, for trashing Gilliam's Tideland and Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain.

Here's an interview Terry did with Rolling Stone magazine. The most worrying thing is Terry says that because of Amazon dropping out, it STILL doesn't have a UK distributor. Sad https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-features/terry-gilliam-don-quixote-interview-819105/

Here's some good news about the success of the Quixote screening:
Quote:“Fathom’s premiere model worked extremely well for ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ and we are thrilled to see the film getting a wider theatrical run,” Ray Nutt, Fathom Events CEO said in a statement. “Our one-night screening helped build awareness, generate fan excitement and create media interest that will only grow as the film continues downstream.”

“We are thrilled that so many fans came to see the movie in theaters during our nationwide one-night event with Fathom,” David Fannon, president of Screen Media, said in a statement. “In response to the demands of those who missed it, we thought we better hurry up and give them another chance to see it. They’ve already waited long enough to see the results of Terry’s epic journey.”

Also, the premature pre-order for the DVD/Blu-ray has disappeared from Amazon.com.

Update: It looks like Amazon.ca has a 6/4 street date: https://www.amazon.ca/Man-Who-Killed-Quixote-Blu-ray/dp/B07PDTWCFQ/

RE: The Making of Quixote - Donald McKinney - 04-16-2019

Yeah, it made $281,612 in it's one night screening, that's more than Tideland or The Zero Theorem made in their entire U.S theatrical runs!! :O https://www.boxofficemojo.com/people/chart/?view=Director&id=terrygilliam.htm

RE: The Making of Quixote - cclark - 04-16-2019

It was #9 overall for April 10th. Not bad at all: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2019-04-10&p=.htm
