RE: The Making of Quixote - cclark - 11-12-2018

Amazon Spain has pushed the Blu-Ray/DVD release to January 21st: https://www.amazon.es/hombre-que-mat%C3%B3-Quijote-Blu-ray/dp/B07FSRBCK3

I wonder if the delay is a reflection of the unannounced release dates for the UK/US release....

RE: The Making of Quixote - Donald McKinney - 11-12-2018

There's still no news on a UK Distributor yet, unless anyone knows who it might be.

RE: The Making of Quixote - cclark - 11-13-2018

There's no official news on a US distributor yet either. I feel like the Blu-Ray release for Spain being bumped to January is very telling, though, as that country seems to have the first official home release so far.

Update: Germany will be releasing the DVD/Blu-ray on February 7, 2019: https://www.amazon.de/Man-Who-Killed-Don-Quixote/dp/B07HNFNW5T/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1542070870&sr=8-1&keywords=terry+gilliam+the+man+who+killed+don+quixote

RE: The Making of Quixote - bruttenholm - 12-15-2018

Apparently TheWrap published then deleted an article saying that Screen Media acquired the film for a March 2019 release (I suppose for USA and Canada, as those are the territories covered by the distributor) : https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/a6atov/terry_gilliams_longawaited_the_man_who_killed_don/
The deletion surely means there's something off in the announcement (perhaps the date isn't quite set, perhaps they're waiting for a distributor in UK to make a big announcement) but I guess the distributor is the right one because they distributed "Blue Iguana" whose director is currently making a documentary about Gilliam so there's definitely a connection there.
