Quixote has been chosen as one of the most exciting films of 2018 by big-name directors by The Guardian.

The Tornasol Films site linked from the official Quixote site above had this to say about the release:

At this point, nothing that happens in relation to a Terry Gilliam film should surprise me. That is sad news. He wasn't very old. Will his passing impact the film?

He was in charge of practical effects so his job was probably finished when the actual filming ended, his passing won't impact the film.

Sound designer Andre Jacquemin tweeted on 16/01/18 that he had almost finished his work on the film.
