Zeitgeist Films and Christopher Nolan have put together a set of four films centering around the work of the Brothers Quay. Three of the films in the touring package are short films directed by the Quays, including IN ABSENTIA (2000), THE COMB (1991), and STREET OF CROCODILES (1986). The fourth film is a documentary about the brothers directed by Christopher Nolan, simply called QUAY (2015). Nolan and the Quays will be at the premiere of the film at the Film Forum in NYC for two shows on August 19th. The discussions will most likely be part of the Film Forum's podcast, and posted on the Film Forum's page for the event.
As noted in the first link above, the short films of the Quay Brothers will be released for the first time on Blu-ray on October 20, 2015. The Blu-ray will exclusively feature Nolan's Quay documentary, as well as three recent films not on the most recent DVD release. All of the extras from the excellent DVD release should hopefully find their way to the Blu-ray (especially since it's from the same company).
