I don't know if this has been put on here yet, a behind the scenes video looking at Adam Driver and Jonathan Pryce's performances.

Gilliam is still a national treasure in the UK but his last few films haven't had great distribution/marketing/media presence. It's a sad state of affairs but cinemagoers over here who want to see quirkier independent stuff are getting smaller in number it seems. Mostly a few weeks in a few arthouse cinemas then it goes to Netflix or VOD if it is an independent film with a small distributor. It's a multiplex nation. If a movie doesn't have a big studio behind it with a big marketing budget it is rare for it to do well at cinemas and only finds its audience on 'home video'. I really hope a studio subdivision might grab the UK rights because I want to see it on the big screen.

If they have the same policy than Cannes, the fact that the film would have been released in several countries before the festival would rule it out from selection.

BFI film festival?
05-27-2018, 12:35 PM
The film opens in Belgium on July 25th so it will be long gone when the BFI will start. It will be the opening film of the newly launched Brussels international film festival on June 20th, though : http://briff.be/lhomme-tua-don-quichotte...ure-briff/
