Fantastic Fest 2013 review from Pop Culture Beast.

Quote:The Zero Theorem is a brilliant film and a stunning achievement for Gilliam and Waltz. Ultimately I think this film will place high in the list of the director’s best works.

Review via The Wrap.
Quote:Like most life lessons, the answers to Qohen’s problems are hidden in plain sight. But the way Gilliam approaches his material with the maturity of an experienced filmmaker but the enthusiams of a young one, “The Zero Theorem” marks the difference between a film with a nihilistic attitude about human existence, and one that believes in the idea that there are many reasons to live, both great and small.

The title of this review says it all:
Fantastic Fest 2013: ZERO THEORUM Marks Gilliam's Second Wind!

A new one from IGN, perhaps a bit too revealing but with a funny title summing the film up : "Fear and Loathing in the Matrix".

Very intriguing(spoiler free) genre-based analysis of the film. + some amusing insight regarding all the brooding/bleak/scifi/futurism/dystopian cliches currently plaguing Hollywood(particularly the YA movies).

That was very interesting. Never thought that sci-fi authors think that the future is usually grim and there can't be any fun or hope within that setting. Now ZT is at the top of my wish list. Big Grin
