So, The Playlist posted the same TG video interview that Donald McKinney had posted here, and this was their takeaway:

To be honest, it's me who sent them the link, because Gilliam was talking about gender equality in the interview and I thought it was a good way to counter-balance his earlier comments about metoo and propose a full thought. Little did I know that americans were so found of their superhero movies (which, yes, are mostly shit) that it would be like pissing on a sacred ground when someone criticizes them. One more step towards my total loss of faith in humanity I guess .
