If it's any consolation, the new Star Wars is set to a big flop. But, at least Quixote's got released, maybe it'll do better in other countries and on DVD. Look at Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, nothing in cinemas, but it was later given it's own Criterion Collection DVD which was a best seller.

It's a cautionary tale for other distributors : don't mistake the professed interest for the troubles and mishaps of the legendary "cursed" film for an interest in the film and its story itself... I saw countless people, spectators, bloggers etc. rejoicing of the Cannes screening and the completion of the film but actually never going to see the film when it came out.
