By the way, much bigger productions than Gilliam's have much much more dramatic problems... A stuntwoman died on the last deadpool, 2 pilots died on the last tom cruise film, a stuntman fell into coma on the shoot of quantum of solace, another stuntman was left paralysed on the shoot of a harry potter film... Yet in thoses cases the directors are never pointed at or criticized... I don't see why Gilliam would be treated differently, when in comparison his sets seem very safe.

It was his reaction to Polley's concerns that he came across as glossing over (or "gaslighting" as was used on Twitter, not exactly a word I would use for this). He also came across as glib when talking about MeToo.
