There seems to be a high degree of natural crumbling.
I set up a video interview for a member of the cast in a quiet part of the convent. There was good natural lighting - a great location I thought. There was a camera on a tripod, with a chair for me and a chair for a member of the cast.
Then suddenly noticed loose bits of stone rubble on the floor that had probably accumulated over months. Then realised that there was a risk of falling masonry from directly above where we were due to sit!
We switched location.
Having a movie filming there can only boost the site's budget for maintenance and repair.
