Idle talked about reforming Monty Python a few weeks back, when he was promoting "Spamalot" in France.
Might be it (or just something about Terry Jones next film).

EDIT 2 : Terry Jones confirms that a new stage show is in the works.

I wonder if it's anything to do with their upcoming film Absolutely anything. AFAIK, it's been in the works for something like 2 years now after they've recorded all their voices for it way back when.

Oh, and did anybody contact Graham yet if he's interested? Wink

It's going to be a live show - no details yet on where or when...

That's great news! Finally a project where all five surviving members are in after a few near misses (John being absent in Not the Messiah, Eric not appearing in A Liar's Autobiography - unless you count stock footage - nor the "upcoming" Absolutely Anything).

Speaking of which:

That film is trapped in Development Hell, or in other words going absolutely nowhere. Maybe interest will fuel after the stage show, but no guarantee.

As for Graham, I e-mailed him concerning the project. Never heard back.

Maybe his urn hasn't got broadband as of yet? It must be his ASP: Afterlife Service Provider!

Hm...now that I think about it, maybe John is gonna be playing Don Quixotte?

In The Sun today, it said that Absolutely Anything starts filming in March. Then again, it is The Sun. Tongue
