Big Gilliam vibes from this :

Those who designed the posters seem to have taken some inspirations from Gilliam posters, too :

Just watched that trailer this morning. Most definitely.

Funnily, the film also gets the kind of so-so reviews a Gilliam film would get Big Grin

Hi

Saw this in an otherwise empty theatre tonight. You can feel the gravitas of a fully engaged, accomplished filmmaker weaving a hypnotic and wise tale with the deftness of a poet. Wonderfully chemistry between and playing from the leads. It’s roots may lie in antiquity and a knowledge of the ages (where I think the real kinship with Gilliam rests) but it feels powerfully relevant and original.

A must for lovers of genuine timeless cinefantastique.
