Sorry for the delayed reply, it was a beautifully inventive show, with a lot of imagination and well staged numbers! Plus, the Theatre Royal Bath was a beautiful old venue, and this suited Into The Woods. Having it being seen from a child's point of view was a brilliant twist, and there were some very big set pieces here too, and you can't believe they were able to do it on stage!

Great! I hope I get the opportunity to see it someday. Live would be ideal. Is there any info on if it was filmed?  That theatre does look very beautiful.
Thanks.

Apparently, a transfer to the West End is still a strong possibility. Scheduled for 2024 probably :

Quote:Beyond Pavarotti, Berry’s company has four or five other musicals and plays heading for theatres next year. Sondheim’s Into the Woods, with Gilliam and Leah Hausman as directors, has already opened in Bath and there are plans to get that into the West End. Berry wants every show to feel like an event, but acknowledges that the bar will always remain high.
