Many weird things in this story. First I doubt that Gilliam would travel all the way to New Zealand for this, second I don't believe that he would plan to stay 2 weeks there.

The spokesperson from Paramount could be just doing damage control, but it's pretty telling that the story wasn't picked up by the regular news outlets.

Plus, Gilliam is 82, I hardly think he'd be flying all the way to New Zealand at his age, especially after having health problems in the past few years.

Mind you, it doesn't mean that Gilliam is happy about the project anyway but I found it strange that he would travel all the way from London to NZ just for this.
